One of the most exciting emerging talents in contemporary jazz, pianist and composer Sultan Stevenson combines elegance, imagination and emotional depth. His influences include McCoy Tyner, Geri Allen and Herbie Hancock, and he draws on gospel, blues and contemporary jazz. With energising vamps and left-hand grooves that bring playful switches in intensity, his live performances are immersive and engaging.
