An exceptional meeting of three distinctive musical voices. Scottish drummer Alyn Cosker plays with explosive energy, precision and a master improviser’s touch. In this world premiere concert for EJBF he collaborates with two internationally-acclaimed musicians. Guitarist Nguyên Lê creates a richly-textured fusion of jazz, rock and Vietnamese musical traditions, delivered with dazzling technique and unmistakable lyricism. Completing the trio, Canadian bassist Chris Jennings is known for his supple tone, rhythmic assurance and instinctive musicality. Expect intricate melodic lines woven through driving grooves.
