If you caught her at last year’s festival, you’ll already know that singer GAÏA is one to watch. Born in France and now firmly rooted in Glasgow’s vibrant jazz scene, she has a sound that feels both intimate and assured. Blending jazz with contemporary R’n’B and neo-soul, there’s a natural fluidity to her phrasing and a songwriter’s instinct for melody. Her band is stacked with talent and features James Mackay (guitar) and Roan Anderson (drums).
