Pianist Ben Shankland is one of Scotland’s brightesttalents. For this special concert, his trio of Ewan Hastie (bass) and Chun Wei-Kang (drums) will be joined byrising star singerLucy Anne Daniels, a natural performer, creative improviser and talented musician who draws inspiration from singers such as Betty Carter and Amy Winehouse. Combining an ever-expanding catalogue of original music with carefully selected and arranged renditions of classics, the band, though young, sound soulful beyond their years.
