Edition Records Series

Founded in 2008 by Dave Stapleton, Edition Records has grown into one of Europe’s most respected independent jazz labels.

Their reputation has been shaped not by a single house style, but by the individuality and ambition of its artists, each finding a voice and sound that’s uniquely their own. The Edition catalogue has attracted widespread acclaim across the world and spans a wide spectrum of contemporary jazz, reflecting both emerging talent and internationally recognised artists. As part of EJBF26, we’re partnering with Edition Records to showcase three of their artists: guitarist Rob Luft, trombonist Nabou Claerhout, and pianist Sultan Stevenson. Guitarist, composer and educator Haftor Medbøe presents a special festival version of his Bar Academia series. The session will focus on Khmer Live in Bergen the new release by Norwegian trumpeter, and Edition artist, Niels Petter Molvær.
