Winner of 2023 BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year, pianist Ben Shankland continues to make a name on the Scottish jazz scene. Combining an ever-expanding catalogue of original music with carefully selected and rearranged renditions of classics, his band sound soulful beyond their years. For this special concert, his trio of Ewan Hastie (bass) and Chun-Wei Kang (drums) will be joined by special guests Helena Kay (sax) and Ben MacDonald (guitar).
