Edinburgh Festival Carnival 2024
Throughout the afternoon, 750 local and international artists paraded and performed throughout West Princes Street Gardens, with performances from KalentuRa Drums (the Netherlands), The Spirit of Montserrat (the Caribbean) and the Edinburgh Chinese Art & Culture Community. The Ross Bandstand (hosted by Sanjay Lago) opened with the sounds of soca, (Tropical Storm) and samba (Ilê Aiyê), and culminated with a Latin American salsa showcase by The Latina Turners.
