Vivacious vocalist Ali Affleck has a well deserved reputation for digging up some of the most exciting payers on the current vintage jazz scene and this year is no exception. She debuts a new band and a new repertoire celebrating the music of New Orleans, Chicago and Harlem.
Torstein Kubban is a highly-acclaimed Norwegian jazz trumpeter known for his virtuosic command of early, classic, and Dixieland jazz. Critics and jazz reviewers consistently praise his blistering stage presence, technical precision, and phenomenal musicianship, often highlighting his "breathtaking attack”. Jonathan Greene is an in-demand clarinetist based in New Orleans, he is known by his peers and audiences alike for his lyrical phrasing and originality. Acclaimed British pianist Martin Litton graces the piano seat. A virtuoso player he effortlessly merges timeless melodies with dynamic improvisation. Guitarist Timmy Allen and bassist Roy Percy complete the all-star line up.
